Dr. Michèle Lewis O’Donnell is a consulting psychologist and COO with Member Care Associates, Inc. (MCA), an NGO focusing on the wellbeing and effectiveness of staff and their organizations. She grew up in both the USA and Europe (as a “military kid") and over the last 35 years has lived in four European countries. Her professional emphases have included individual and family adjustment in the expatriate community, transition and grief/loss, crisis care, good practice/ethics, global mental health, and integrity/anti-corruption. Michèle studied clinical psychology and theology at Rosemead School of Psychology, Biola University, USA, where she received her doctorate. She enjoys “going broadly” in order to learn, teach, and consult internationally. Her publications include several jointly written articles and resources in the member care/mental health fields including co-editing several foundational member care volumes. Michèle has been a representative to the United Nations in Geneva for the World Federation for Mental Health (2016-2021) and is the co-coordinator for the annual Global Integrity Day-9 June. Here work is influenced by the Global Integration Framework (linking values, skills, relationships, and integrity for the wellbeing of all people and the planet). Dr. Kelly O’Donnell is a consulting psychologist, based in Geneva, living/working internationally for 35 years. He is the CEO of Member Care Associates, Inc. (MCA), an NGO focusing on the wellbeing and effectiveness of staff and their organizations. Kelly’s international and multi-sectoral emphases for consultation, training, and writing include: staff wellbeing, global mental health, integrity/anti-corruption, and faith-based contributions for good practice and sustainable development. He holds graduate degrees in clinical/community psychology including a doctorate from Rosemead School of Psychology, Biola University, USA. Publications include 100+ articles and six books in the member care/mental health fields (see lists of publications and presentations). He has been a representative to the United Nations for the World Federation for Mental Health (2016-2021) AND currently is on the Executive Team for the Global Integrity Network of the Lausanne-WEA as well as a co-coordinator for the annual Global Integrity Day-9 June. Kelly enjoys providing a steady stream of reflections and resources via the MCA-related websites such as GMH-Map and Global Integrity Day, GMH orientation articles, and the monthly Member Care Updates and Global Integration Updates. Married to Michèle for 39 years, also a psychologist, they have two wonderful adult daughters. His life and work are influenced by the Ignatian values of learning, virtue, and duty; and the Global Integration Framework (linking values, skills, relationships, and integrity for the wellbeing of all people and the planet). Note--We would like to see a coordinating group form to take GID forward and to branch out into several additional directions. It would encourage the active involvement of colleagues, organizations, and networks working together to be the people we need who can help to build the world we need.
